Whidbey Island to Host Fusionspark's New Media Conference

Unique Langley Event Brings Together Luminaries to Address the Future of Digital Media Communications

For many, Facebook barely existed three years ago and for most, Twitter didn't exist three months ago. Today, they are part of the common lexicon. As technology, social networking and the way we communicate via the Web continue to transform at a rate that challenges Moore's Law, consumers and businesses alike ask: What does the future of New Media hold for us?

With this question as the guiding premise, Fusionspark Media is pleased to announce it will produce and host a New Media communications event for the North Puget Sound region on September 19, 2009 in Langley on beautiful Whidbey Island.

The event, dubbed "New Media 2012: Where the hell is this all headed, anyway?," is sponsored by Whidbey Telecom, with support by the Inn at Langley, and brings together national and local industry experts from the publishing, entertainment, telecom, legal and government sectors to share their practical insight and vision for the future of New Media communications. With session topics including next-generation journalism, cloud computing, content marketing, social media and online storytelling, New Media 2012 is an event sure to inform, inspire, and engage the region's New Media community.
