Akorri in virtual infrastructure performance and capacity management for the dynamic data center, announced the availability of BalancePoint 3.0 -- the latest version of the company's award-winning virtual infrastructure management software. BalancePoint 3.0 allows IT organizations to optimize virtual and physical server and storage infrastructure resources to reduce costs. As companies advance through the stages of server virtualization adoption, they need an infrastructure-wide analytical systems management solution like BalancePoint that provides visibility and control to troubleshoot and assure performance, plan server and storage capacity, and manage service levels.
Cozen O'Connor, a law firm delivering legal services in 23 cities and two continents, is one such company: "BalancePoint has given us confidence that we can provide optimal IT performance and service as we continue with our efforts to virtualize more and more of our key applications," said Amy Freese, Director of Information Services at Cozen O'Connor. "BalancePoint's holistic view and deep root cause analysis allow us to maximize our data center resources and balance both cost and efficiency while delivering on service levels."
Merkle Inc., one of the nation's largest and fastest growing database marketing agencies, also relies on Akorri BalancePoint: "BalancePoint has already saved us significant time by identifying the root cause of server and storage problems and enabling faster, more informed decisions," said Atul Gandhi, Sr. Director, Enterprise Technology Group, Merkle Inc. "BalancePoint 3.0 provides deeper statistics for the HP EVA platform and Cisco SAN switch support, which will likely give us an even deeper understanding to quickly resolve bottlenecks, contention or latency issues, and enable better performance from our data center."
