SHIFT Communications and Whitley Media today transformed static Twitter profile pages into powerful personal branding tools with the launch of www.clickablenow.com Until today, the background pages on Twitter profiles were largely useless from a marketing standpoint, since urls, email addresses and images were static and could not be clicked -- or even copied and pasted with a mouse. ClickableNow.com enables Twitter users to add working links -- to personal blogs, corporate websites, e-mail addresses, images and popular social media platforms -- right on their customized Twitter profile backgrounds.
Here's how it works: Install the FREE browser add-on script. The installation process is quick and safe, and enables the user to immediately view other users' clickable backgrounds for as long as they'd like, for FREE. Once the script is downloaded, users can see vivid examples of clickable profiles by clicking on twitter.com/pheadrick and twitter.com/tdefren
Those who wish to add clickable links to their own Twitter backgrounds should visit www.clickablenow.com and login through Twitter using the "Sign in with Twitter" button. To add links to your background there is a one-time, unlimited-use fee of $19.95 via paypal.com Users may then drag-n-drop links onto their background and size them to fit perfectly over urls, images and email addresses. Lastly, users should save their settings, and then spread the word to their Twitter followers that their background is clickable now.
