The Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS(R) held its annual Membership Appreciation Barbecue on July 9, offering delicious food, wine and music - all for free to members. More than 500 REALTORS(R) and affiliates enjoyed an evening of fun at the picturesque SCCAOR courtyard.
SCCAOR leaders, volunteers and staff worked on the grill and served food to long lines of members, many of whom brought families and friends.
A long list of elected officials attended the event to hear from the REALTOR(R) community. They included Assemblymembers Paul Fong, Ira Ruskin, Bill Monning; San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed, Councilmembers Ash Kalra, Kansen Chu, Pete Constant, Pierluigi Oliverio, Rose Herrera, Sam Liccardo; Milpitas Mayor Bob Livengood, Councilmembers Debbie Giordano, Armando Gomez; Gilroy Councilmember Peter Arellano; and Santa Clara County District Attorney Dolores Carr. San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Pat Dando also attended.
"We strive to provide the best services to our members," SCCAOR President Quincy Virgilio said. "We are constantly giving them new tools to help them succeed professionally. We also want to let them know we are one big family here at SCCAOR and the Membership Appreciation Barbecue serves that purpose."
SCCAOR President Quincy Virgilio can be reached for comments by e-mail (quincy@sccaor.com), phone or text messaging (408.832.2912).
